Another haul post. I know, I know, but with all the sales and promotions it was just too hard to resist! My only excuse is that it didn't all happen at once, some were gifts and my makeup bag was in need of a refresh.
Although this is a cumulative haul of things I've picked up over the last month, for the sake of clarity I've included the exact offers I used at the time, as well as the normal retail price of each product. I've also written first impression reviews of the things I've tried so far and links to the ones I could find on the Boots website. Even though these promotions are over now, there's always another one on the way, so if you're in need of inspiration (or you just need that 3rd item for a 3 for 2) then read on...
The background of these photos is a cashmere scarf I picked up in the Next sale. It was only £25 and I love it - bargain of the month!

Falsifeye HD Mascara in Brown/Black - £6.99 - link
First Impression: Good. This is the first time I've tried a brown mascara and I really like it. The brush also lengthens and separates without clumping or looking heavy. It's become my go-to mascara on 'no-makeup-makeup' days.Tinsel Nail Effects in Pink - £2.99 - link
A gorgeous multicoloured glitter polish, including some holographic pieces and different shades of pink. Swatches to come.Maybelline

Brow Drama Sculpting Mascara - £4.99 - link
First Impression: Love! This is my first foray into brow products and I've been converted. I'm not into big, bold brows (mine are already fairly full anyway) but this tinted gel gives a hint of colour in the sparse areas and sets the brows into a nice shape that lasts all day.Color Drama Lipstick in Nude Perfection - £4.99 - link
First Impression: Love! It seems that everyone is always on the hunt for the 'perfect nude' lipstick, but I think I've already found it. This lip crayon is easy to apply, gives full opaque creamy colour and leaves a modern semi-matte finish. I should probably mention this brown-nude shade is very 'Kylie Jenner' but to be honest I still don't know who she is. Will definitely try more from the Color Drama range in the future.Be Brilliant Nail Polish in Skyline Blue
First Impression: A fun glitter polish, featuring a mix of light blue, dark blue, silver and tiny pink glitters in a blue base. This applied nicely, with plenty of glitter pieces adhering to the nail without it being too dense. However the blue base is fairly sheer, meaning it's not something I would wear alone on the nail. But I'm sure when I find the right 'undies' it will look great!(Free) Baby Lips Dr Rescue in Berry Soft - £3.49 - link
Because I always need lip balm! I have tried a couple of the original Baby Lips and unfortunately I wasn't that impressed, they definitely did not live up to all the hype. This Dr. Rescue version however, is described as a 'medicated balm' so I'm hoping this might be more effective.Rimmel

Scandal Eyes Waterproof Kohl Liner in Nude - £3.99 - link
Since I'm one of those people who's always tired, I'd been looking for something to help brighten up my eyes. This nude eyeliner is supposed to be great for use in the waterline, and the colour should be more flattering than a stark white.Exaggerate Lip Liner in Eastend Snob - £3.99 - link
First Impression: I've heard so much about this lipliner that I couldn't help jumping on the bandwagon. I'm a little embarrassed to say this is actually my first lipliner.. I guess I never really saw the need for one before. I've only tried this once. It's a lovely soft, rosy pink colour with a velvety formula. Unfortunately I liked it so much I ended up wearing it all over my lips and forgot about the lipstick! So I still cannot comment on it's 'lining' abilities.Kate Lasting Finish Lipstick in shade 30 - £5.49 - link
First Impression: I picked out this shade because it's a gorgeous deep berry colour that looked perfect for that wintery/vampy look. These Kate lipsticks are extremely popular, and I can see why; the colour is opaque and it feels very nice and moisturising on the lips. Although, as I say I am a bit of a lipstick-newbie and I found this quite tricky to apply neatly from the bullet - perhaps I should be using a brush? - and it did go everywhere when I ate. Still a lovely colour that I'm sure will be worth the application practice.(Free) Salon Pro by Kate Nail Polish in Mars - £3.49 - link
Believe it or not I have something close to 200 nail polishes, and I don't have a plain red. It's not my favourite colour but I feel like it's missing from the collection so I'm glad Boots offered this one for free with the other purchases. In the bottle it looks like a classic pillar box red but that's all I can say at the moment.L'Oreal

Infallible 24H Foundation - £9.99 - link
First Impression: I love this foundation. I could go on about it for hours but really it deserves its own review. I've been using it on and off since I was about 15 and it's one I always come back to; especially when it's winter and my skin is looking super pale. Their lightest shade, Porcelain, is a perfect match for me and I appreciate the medium-heavy coverage. Definitely a good one for fair skin girls to try.Super Liner Black Crystals Eyeliner (not pictured - already pinched by the mother) - £6.49
(Free) Volume Million Lashes So Couture Mascara - £10.99 - link
Since my all-time favourite mascara was discontinued a while ago, I'm on a constant hunt for the perfect replacement. I have tried the original 'Volume Million Lashes' and I liked it a lot so I'm curious to see how this one compares.(Free) Color Riche Le Kohl Liner in Immaculate Snow- £4.39 - link
I've always been a fan of bright and colourful eye makeup so I'm thinking of using this all over the eyelid as a base to make colours pop. If that doesn't work, at least it should work as a liner and help with the tired eyes problem.(Free) Color Riche Lipstick in shade 461 - 6.99 - link
As I've mentioned before, I'm relatively new to the land of lipstick, and I'm not typically drawn to reds, so this is a new one for me - excited to try!(Free) Color Riche Nail Varnish in Exquisite Scarlet - £4.99 - link
You go months without a red nail polish and then two come along at once!Phew! In theory that lot should keep me busy for a while. Having said that, Spring is on it's way and that means lots of new releases...
In the meantime I shall distract myself with these pretty glitters.
